Hommocks Park Community Solar is a 485 kW solar array on the roof of the Hommocks Park Ice Rink in the Town of Mamaroneck. This Community Solar project will serve approximately 100 local residents, including those that reside in the Hommocks Park Apartments, live in rental apartments, or consider their household low to moderate income, in addition to all other residents and eligible organizations in the Town of Mamaroneck (includes the Village of Larchmont and Mamaroneck). Hommocks Park Community Solar will provide those that join with up to 10% savings on their electricity bills for years to come. The Town will also earn lease payments for the use of the ice rink roof and for its strong commitment to providing solar for all.
